She sat in her home, hair wrapped in a towel. Pink dye stained her hands, as she seemed to have still forgotten her gloves yet again as she covered the natural color showing on her roots.

It was something that happened often, as Jessie died her roots each time it became noticeable that his fiery color was returning. She sighed, sitting down on the couch in her comfy clothes and leaning back as she shut her eyes. Tired, frustrated.

Until she felt it.

Tap, tap, tap

Peaking open one eye, she noticed Finn standing over her, looking at her quizzically. Ever entuned to his trainer's emotions, a concerned look could be read on the Delphox's face. It brought a smile on her face as she patted the couch beside her.

"You know, we used to match. Me and you. Do you remember, when you were a BRAIXEN?"

She was met with a grunt-like noise, as though he was trying to say yes. Jessie laughed, leaning against him and ruffling his fur. What would she do without Finn?

"Maybe I'll dye some of your fur pink next time. How about that?"

He held a tired-looking smile to his trainer. But, who knows. Maybe, one day, he showed up with tip of his tail pink.

That night had been a rollercoaster of emotions. First, Jessica had been at Niko's door, knocking and asking for him to listen. She didn't even know if their relationship would be the same after she returned from Slateport.

She cried. They both got angry. They apologized. The natural stages of a fight, running its course.

Of course, she had missed his touch, but what she did not expect, after their intimacy had been interrupted by his son... their son? Anyway. Their intimacy was interrupted because of a poopy diaper, and when she came back, a confession was made.

"I love you."

"I love you too."

And then there was the teasing about marriage. Jessie's doubts about it, wondering if Niko would ever truly settle with her. But he said he would. He said yes, of course he would.

Which was why she was there, at a jewelry store... well, the jewelry store she had tried to rob as a Rocket grunt, looking at rings with her DELPHOX and SYLVEON, Finn and Ollie. So far, nothing stuck out. Until...

"What about... this one? It's black, simple, sleek... think he'd like it?" she asked, letting her Pokemon observe.

Finn chittered, and Ollie made a cute cooing noise, tail swaying behind him. Jessie smiled at them, looking back at the ring. She could see it, resting on Niko's ring finger snugly. Maybe, some day soon, they'd exchange them.

"Okay. Let's get that one, then," she told her Pokemon, waving down a consultant to retrieve it.

NIKO MANNER

NIKO MANNER was out of the house for a while, which left Jessie in charge of taking care of Baby Niko while he was out. Of course, she didn't mind taking care of the baby one bit. In fact, it was something she looked forward to.

However, it was definitely something outside of her Pokemon's comfort zone. At least, outside of all of them, except for Finn's. Her DELPHOX had been around her family and her siblings for many years, since she was about ten years old. He knew what it was like, being around children.

However, she also thought it would be a good job to have her AROMATISSE around for, as well as her CHINGLING. If he got upset, AROMATHERAPY could calm him down, and the bell-like noise that the CHINGLING made could provide some entertainment.

Currently, the baby was crying, and Jessie was trying to get him to calm down so she could change him. She looked over at her AROMATISSE.

"AROMATHERAPY, please," she murmured, almost a quiet beg.

A soothing scent filled the room, and soon enough, his cries quieted down, and the baby was able to be changed. Jessie's CHINGLING dangled overhead, creating some noise to entertain him and keep him occupied as she finished.

Soon, he was asleep, cuddled close to her chest with his thumb in his mouth. Jessie looked at her two Pokemon, smiling.

"Thank you. He should sleep for a while..."
